Looks like he is talking up a lady to me...
After skating flat for hours and learning nollie cabs Josh kickflipped this ditch gap. Poor Brian Hanson fell and knocked out his teeth. Harm and Hanson spent the remainder of the evening in the ER.
Ethan Fowler has been in LA ever since the San Diego Foundation premiere. Most recently attending the Foundation party in LA at Clints warehouse. Showcasing his guitar skills.
Corey Duffel just finished up a Slap interview and is working on a couple top secret video parts to follow Cataclysmic Abyss. Stay tuned for details.
Gareth Stehr just flew up to Portland Oregon yesterday to meet up some Veece Clothing dudes. From Oregon they will go to Arizona. Wrapping up the trip on the 13th.
Don Nguyen has been keeping busy after Cataclysmic Abyss. Helping set up the recent LA party. He's enjoying his time hanging out with his new dog Lucifer.
Mike Rusczyk recently recovered from a injury and is now ready to get on the streets and skate. Recently moving to a new location Santa Rosa, California.
Sierra Fellers got on the 13 hour flight to Australia yesterday. Arriving in Melbourne to shred the Globe Double Set contest.
Matt Allen has also been recovering from a injury. Some dumbass ran his car into Matts about 2 weeks ago. Matt only suffered minor injurys and will be fully ripping asap.
Angel Ramirez has been busy accomplishing the No Worries of the year award presented by Thrasher. Follwing that award he figured he should probably get out of Colorado for a bit and shred the gnar in California. Look for a Angel sighting soon.
Tommy Gurrola is coming off his first video part. Shooting a couple photos here and there. Getting ready to go up to SF for a little week long trip.
Abdias Rivera traveled up to LA to shoot some photos and film with fellow Pig Wheels rider Dyson Ramones. From there he will make his way up to Duffels to get gnar for a couple weeks.
Heres a photo of Melcher in San Diego. I just did rider coverage on the newest issue of Automatic magazine. Melcher got a rock n roll photo. Nice.
With David Reyes and Don Nguyen. David just returned from a Circa South America trip last week. Hes now shredding the streets of San Diego and LA on the regular.
Austin just got back from Australia. He was there participating in an Emerica trip.
New Suffer The Joy post coming soon.
Last saturday at Clints warehouse in LA, Foundation Skateboards presented its highly controversial video Cataclysmic Abyss to a very selective audience. Ethan rocked the place with his band and Gareth dished out a couple high fives with Harmony.
Mike has done some graphics for Toy Machine...
Abdias sent me this picture that this dude Bart took. Even though its only a 5 stair rail and he was totally joking, its still pretty gnarly. Nosegrind tailgrab.
Inbetween falls Johnny has been coming through with some sweet moves. Keep it up, J-Lay.
He can't drive without them. Who is that getting BGP? (background props)
Diego went to Hawaii with Hurley for some rippin' and and ended up waxing a board instead of gripping one. Then he went to a barbeque with Chris Senn. Look at the size of that meat! (warning)
I went into the oven-hot, dark, smoky club just long enough to get a few snaps off, then had to escape.
Sketchy angle, Huh?
Hanging with Brokeback Boy, Heath Ledger. Told you he was fancy...
Nick is steazy chillin' down in Oz. A life of travel and skateboarding has just opened up and embraced Nicoli, this time in the form of a Volcom voyage.
No! But Ed is back!
The Tempster has returned.
In Cataclysmic Abyss.
Nuge and Sierra hanging out. Nuge got a new dog somewhat recently. Named it Lucy. Short for something else. I will introduce her to the website tomorrow maybe.
Hanging out together. Both ride for Duffs, Pig, and Sessions, both are friends.
Check out the Andale Posse Tour where Melcher
is on tour for 6 weeks. Rad footage & Photo's.
but i dont know why?
But now he's gone. He had a 10 hour lay over on his flight home from Hawaii with the Hurley team. He was in at 6:00am and out by 10:00am. Always on a mission.
Its actually called Cat Lore. You should buy it.
Abdias crail grab at a school in LA.
Or is Cataclysmic Abyss a real band? Hmm I'm starting to ask myself even after seeing it up there with all those legit(kinda) bands.
This is Aaron Rose at a screening for his film about the Beautiful Losers. Ed is all up in it saying righteous and funny things about art and life. Highly recommended.
Why cant we be friends, why cant we be friends? Well that song is deffiently not about Duffel and Garrett Hill.
York moved back up to SF. We're celebrating that by putting a link to a website that started the celebration. Click Here For Part
This time he's in Hell...
We went across the bridge to San Pedro yesterday. Johnny, Nick and Fletch skated some plastic tables before we collected some good times at the Double Set School. Then we went to check out an epic sunset at a weird church in Palos Verdes, after which we jumped the car and it got broken. We waited for a tow truck to pick us up and take us back across the bridge.
One of Adams friends sent me this pic and said heres Adam Crew trying to look cool. So i went with it.
Tony Hawk! just kidding. Sean Conover
Photo and video courtesy of Mikendo.
These are his feets.
Johnny was having a mellow day, jumping things here, jumping things there. Then he took a slam, cut open his hand and started bumming. Sometimes you ride the board, sometimes the board rides you.
Johnny gets mad for the next post...
Abdias, David, and Duffel hanging out.
Mr. Cairo Foster. He came to the Tum Yeto open house and the Foundation Premiere so pretty much we're all best friends now.
Dont get caught sleeping on our new am Abdias. Hes got a interview over at the skateboardindustry website.
All Abdias photos courtesy of Bart Jones on the Skateboardindustry website. Thanks Bart!
I met up with Angel for the Foundation video premiere a couple weeks ago. Followed him around until the video ended. It went from this to this to this. In a matter of a hour. Nice.
Boosh is stoked.
Josh looks on at first a bit jealously then happily as Dylan Reider takes Grif on a ride in his Bat-Cycle. Apparently Dylan is always Batman and Grif is either Robin or Bat-Girl depending on his mood. They went vroom.
Suffer.
From a Cataclysmic Abyss Premiere
Duffel gets cover and a 20 page interview in the newest issue of Slap magazine. Next time you see him give him a high five for me. I live in San Diego and he lives in Duffel Land(not san diego).
Trapasso managed to get no-comply flip these two parking blocks before getting kicked out, while out skating with Ewan and Fletch. He even surprised himself.
Suffer.
During the open house the shark board was in full effect. Look for a fuel tv segment someday involving crazy ramps being built at tum yeto throughout the whole warehouse.
After Ledger's and Missy's the Grif Dog is partied out. Time for a break.
J-Lay took a tumble the other day and cheese grated his palms off. He was bombing an epic ditch when he hit a crack and took it to the body. Being back in the game means getting back with the slams. Heal up soon, Mr. Layton.
Be like Johnny and Suffer the Joy of skateboarding.
Abdias enjoyed them. Also I ran across a video by Adam Crew last week. Just now posted it so we could be the last site to have it.
Matt almost got his board run over by an SUV while skating in Moreno Valley some weeks ago. The driver rolled down the window and cursed at him, but Mr. B just walked away with an ear to ear grin and chuckle. Not much gets him down.
Go ahead, suffer.
This time at Heath Ledger's house. Fancy, eh?
After getting the boot from a public park and witnessing Boosh wreck his knee, Nick attempted to skate this kinker. Johnny pulled gaurd duty and protected the Saturn which lined the landing. Acosta scaled walls and searched for epic angles. For more on Nicoli, check out Thrasher or try suffering.
Mr Reyes went to South America with Circa. Sierra stayed home because he was feeling ill after Tampa Am. David has emailed me some info on the trip so far. Most of it is sketchy but heres how he ended his conversation with me. Anybody know what movie its from?
p.s she looked at his shoes...nice
she looked at his bling...nicee
she looked at his dong...very niceeee
Look how good we did in the Logo wars this month? We arn't sure how we did it but we'll take it. Seeing how Element has Muska and we have Corey does that mean Duffel has reached pop icon status along with Abdias? Nice!
I like to steal pictures from other people. Found this one on the vans website. Hey its cool though atleast Tommy rides for them. This was taken in tampa at some pool hall.
Austin jams out in Josh's garage right before leaving for the wonderful world of Oz or Australia. Hopefully he meets all the challenges there with a sharp brain, a heart of steel, and a stoic courage.
Have a helping of suffer.
I hope Angel and the rest of Colorado had fun at the Foundation premiere last night there. The Northern California premiere is tonight.
Ignition is doing a Ruckus tool giveaway. Check it out here
In case you were wondering heres
how to do kickflip 50s.
After heeding Ed's advice the other day, Nick sets up and prepares for a wave of mutilation. When he gets going there's nothing to do but sit back and whistle. Also in Nick news, it's not up yet but keep your eyes peeled for a Trapasso web interview over at Thrasher.
There's some suffering to be done.
Heres a picture of the dinner the team had before the Foundation premiere in San Diego. Everyones friends and family came. Didnt get too out of control. Oh by the way you know how i said the Cataclysmic Abyss premiere list would be up soon? Well it is up now.
When Diego comes State-side he's always on his own mission. Barely seen but always busy, he makes it to every sesh and does his taxes to boot. Check out Burnett's blog over at Thrasher for a more comprehensive documentation of his visit.
As always, Suffer The Joy.
Ewwww...
Including Sierras back when he wasnt looking.
Well, she is...
This is Josh and his pup, Pepper. They're stoked that Suffer The Joy has a new video post with some tid-bits from Harmony, J-Lay the hard-ass and Nick. Woof.
Tommy Gurrola coming through with his first ever full video part in Cataclysmic Abyss.
Looks like some rip off Shrek movie. Actually this is a photo of Duffel and Rhino from the Foundation premiere.
ooor not.
While off to Australia, Ed provides guidance and motivation for everyone at Toy. Even Nick called to get some last minute advice on life. The Tempster is wise...
Suffer The Joy update coming in hot.
Austin will be going to Australia with Ed, and Josh will be filming for the Fallen video along with Matt B and Billy.
KEVIN, will be updating the website, since I will be gone...
One of many slams he took that day. We went back to the ditch where the cop kicked us out, and got the photos I needed. HA!
On a side note, check out this Asshole's video for his Christian band.
The world needs less of these fucktards in it.
Abdias gets broke on the kickflip but comes through with the crooked grind.
Cataclysmic Abyss Shop Premiere list should go up by monday. Check CataclysmicAbyss.com for a premiere near you! Mondayish.
You thought this post was about some kid losing his tooth, but really it is about some impostor out there in cyberspace posing as some kind of Fake Griffin, while the Real Griffin is at the HB park.
Billy Marks lays waste to all the cheap imitators out there by coming out with Billy's Balls, from Chode to Shaft (or some other title yet to be figured out.) It will be all you enjoyed about the first Billy's Balls, but this time with less hair, and more polish and shine. You will see what pro skaters on Toy Machine do with their spare time. Coming soon to Suffer the Joy.com
Here it is. A picture of his part from the premiere. High Five.
Zeros Sheldon Meleshinski and Anti Heros Ian Gow for are open house last week.
