His name is not Satan backwards, it is a male version of Natasha.
Ripping as usual, you can't stop the Butcher.
Check out Sidewalk Magazine's website to get a clue about what is going on in the UK.
So we woke up in Texas with a free buffet at the hotel. A nice change from the beef jerky diet we were all on. Ate then immedietly hit the road for Oklahoma City. Matt Hoffman extreme skatepark was the next stop. That park turned out to be pretty fun. Even with the large crowd. The locals all ripped the 9 stair hubbas and rail for the best trick contest. Shortly after the cops shut down the place for anybody with out a helmet. Oh well...product toss and autographs went down and we were out. Had some group photos with the active guys as they would keep the journey going all the way to Skate plaza and the TumYeto guys would make the drive back to San Diego. That night...
This kid came up on some product
Matt Hoffman Extreme Park!
Enjoy one of the worlds best.
And it wasn't Erik Ellington.
Got up bright and early saturday morning in Arizona for the super fun 8 hour drive to New Mexico. Went straight from the van to the Albequerque skatepark. Ate some dogs and schralped the park for a couple hours before we met up with DJ Chavez. Went out to dinner then decided it would be best to try and make it halfway to Oklahoma City where the next skatepark session would be at. That means stop in Texas for the night.

Woke up friday morning in Arizona and had to get out of the hotel and find some food. After a long stop at a bagel shop we hit up Peoria skatepark in the 103 degree sun. Weee! Slurpees and beef jerky followed and we drove off looking for a weapons store when we came across a handrail that looked neat i guess. The rail got 50ed and then we drove straight to Tempe skatepark for a Active Hot Dogs & Hessians stop. That skatepark is amazing. Everyone skated that place for 3 hours until we decided to get some grub and call it a night.

We went a little crazy and went swimming the ice-cold water.
This guy never rests!
Luckily, I was there to document his pain and anguish.
And why is Bradford's face in all the photos?
But it was on the train from France to Spain. It's that plain.
The team loved this Root Beer called 'Mahou.' It means 'Tasty Root' in Espagnol.
TumYeto and Active Crew
We packed the van and left TumYeto around 5pm on thursday 6/15. The plan was to meet the Active guys in Tempe Arizona that night with skatepark appearances/Barbeques/product tosses the following next 3 days. We didn't have the best luck driving to Arizona. A flat tire and being pulled over doesn't really speed up the whole process. But we made it into Tempe around midnight. Street skating followed until 4 am when we finally went to sleep.

At a shop in Australia. A mom came in all bummed because Johnny signed his poster 'J-Loser' instead of 'J-Lay', said her kid was crying. Get a freakin grip.
At 2 in the morning at a campsite filled with other campers...
This is a self portrait from the first night of the Wild Ride tour. We set up out tents and and about 2 hours later an epic storm blew over us. We ran into our tents and all laid in them, watching the constant lighting, incredible thunder, and pounding rain hit our thin nylon membranes. Only a fraction of an inch to protect your from the wrath of mother nature... Thankfully, stakes held out, and lighting did not venture my way.
Just when you thought the storm was subsiding, a terrible clap of thunder would launch us up a few inches off the ground, and the rain would start up again with renewed tenacity. One of the worst storms I ever had to be so close to, and one of the best times in my life.
Bennett and A-Stone check the bank, the filmer laughs hysterically knowing such variables as slick banks, muddy ride-ups and random wind gusts don't apply to him directly.
Ed may have posted this pic on his area of the site already, but I don't care. It's bad-ass. This was during a talk he gave at some art school I believe. He returns from a trip today so if I'm wrong, he'll surely correct me.
"Suffer The Joy" of honing life to a fine edge.
...when viewed from the Left. Ed and Deanna on election day.
Who would've guessed he'd become the exceedingly lanky, mustachioed, king of one-liners, prince of darkness that he is today?
"Suffer The Joy" of growing into yourself. Next stop was the Clairemont YMCA. The place was packed to capacity. Chipotle Burritos got brought out for that stop and all eaten in less then 10 min. Everyone that could get into the park ripped, product was given out and before we knew it we were off to Ocean Beach. I started to notice carloads of people following us hmmm
OB was a nice change because it is located right next to the ocean so we got that cool breeze every once in awhile. Everyone skated inside and outside the park. Autographs were signed and product was tossed once again. Before we knew it, it was time for the final stop Chula Vista.
By this time we had about 5 cars following us to the last stop. Handoffs on the freeway for licorice between the team van and some TumYeto friends got handled properly. Thanks Jared. As we pulled up to the last stop I noticed there was probably 400 kids there waiting for us. Saved the best stop for last. A barbeque followed with Overload manning the veggie dogs. Every inch of the skate park got skated and the last of the product got tossed. Hopefully everyone had as much fun as I did. See you next year San Diego. Thanks for coming out!
Special thanks go out to Kevin, Robert and Gabe at Overload, Lazlo and staff at Clairemont, Gabe and staff at Ocean beach, Aaron and staff at Chula Vista, Sobe, Monster energy drink, Vitamin water, Marnie Mcgarnahan at Chipotle, Joe Picciolo at Fuel TV, Paul at Sun Diego, the 2 lovely ladies that helped with the hotdogs, and of course the Tumyeto staff. We couldnt have done it without all your help, thanks everyone. Give yourself a big pat on the back.
I'm serious, go skating!
Today's the day. If you skate you should get yourself on one of these and enjoy the ride.
"Suffer The Joy" of skating until your feet bleed.
Back when he was still shaggy maned and muttonchopped, Josh complained that the Atlanta heat made his shoes get "soggy" faster than normal. He retrived a fresh pair from the van and laced them tighter than usual to remedy this, before leaping down a magnified five stair.
"Suffer The Joy" of mental block to a physical obstacle.
It sorta looks like a tap shoe. Gregory Hines was stoked on this one.
Here's what you get when Ed is your ride home from the airport.
"Suffer The Joy" of continuous jabs at your ego.
Austin is always one to stop and smell the roses wherever we go. While everyone is busied with griptape rituals, PSP, hotel cable, logging footage and the like, he'll most often be found by himself relaxing in wait for the day's session.
"Suffer The Joy" of enjoying it while it lasts.
Signings get this way...
As he waits for the train, Bennett's mind wanders to his future; video part songs, ad photos due, and a new found status on a premiere shoe company. These thoughts and more fill the empty times in far off lands. What could he be thinking about now?
"Suffer The Joy" of knowing greatness lies on the threshold of failure.
Johnny was skating around in the street yesterday afternoon for the first time in a few weeks. After such a long hiatus one might think he'd be rusty, sluggish, unable to tic-tac let alone kickflip. It looked to me like he hadn't missed a day. J-Lay is bio.
"Suffer The Joy" of being a beast and a half.
Perhaps he was contemplating life in a new apartment far from the annoying drone of videographer neighbors and Dark Angels, longing for the addition of French doors to his life. We can only guess.
Josh became increasingly excited about shooting photos with his new camera over these past couple of trips. He'd often burst out of the van crying, "Photo gold!" when in eyeshot of a little girl raking leaves or a seagull feeding its young in the amber glow of a foreign sunset. Look for a Harmony exhibition in your town soon...
"Suffer The Joy" of feasting on the art vibe...
It's usually around the fifth of sixth day of tour, that the strain of the travel, skating all day in between demos and signings, being toted around in a far off, unfamiiar land and living off gas station food, all catch up with you. J-Lay and Bilbo do their best to fight off the effects of this last Australia trip.
"Suffer The Joy" of being a nomad with a purpose.
Random indeed...
Diego was going to try and ollie this lady but he totally pussed out at the last second. Afterwards she got on his board and kickflipped the set in designer pumps. Ed put her on flow.

"Suffer The Joy" of perfect rails getting knobbed.
Ed mastered a little tune with this accordion on the Good and Evil tour in 2004. It was dubbed "The Tour Theme Song" and could be heard echoing throughout Cracker Barrels and Denny's across Middle America, mixing with the rollicking laughter of the team and clacking of tails on hot parking lot pavement.
"Suffer The Joy" of living out of a bag for a season.
Please do it. Or Suffer the Joy of being FIRED.
Where does the bescarfed, tattooed, red haired guy with only a hip-sack covering his sack find such freaks? How do you get sooooo Alternative?
Doesn't that sound gross?
PS: I updated some new ads into the ad gallery.
Prepare to be bummed / weirded out.

Pig Wheels flow rider Steve Shipler with a ollie over the fence into the sketchy bank. The sequence doesnt do this trick justice, wait for the footage...
A-Stone is always down to make a sight seeing mission and there's plenty to choose from when abroad with the Tempsters. Just bring your walking shoes.
"Suffer The Joy" of scuttling around the world fueled by vegan food, photos and skateboarding.

He is a MANIMAL who cannot be stopped. I know I appreciate his lack of WUSSINESS. I hope you guys do too.
